Empowering, Equipping, and Elevating the Next Generation. At Cherished Youth, we believe that every young person deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we meet youth where they are, whether in their homes, schools, or communities. At Cherished Youth, we are more than a program, we are a movement!

We serve students in grades 5th through 12th, focusing on three fundamental pillars that drive transformation:

CONNECTIONS – Belonging Creates Opportunity

When young people feel connected, their potential is limitless. Research proves that a strong support system reduces the risks of substance abuse, mental health struggles, and involvement with the judicial system, all while increasing academic success and emotional well-being. We cultivate safe spaces where youth can build meaningful relationships with mentors, peers, and role models who inspire them to dream bigger.

CONTRIBUTIONS – Purpose Builds Confidence

True growth happens when young people realize the value they bring to the world. By engaging in community service and skill-building activities, they develop character, discover their passions, and gain essential life skills. Most importantly, they learn the power of perseverance, leadership, and responsibility which preparing them for a successful future.

COMMUNITY – A Support System That Transforms Lives

A strong community shapes identity and self-worth. We create experiences that connect youth with local businesses, government leaders, and organizations that provide mentorship, career exploration, and real-world opportunities. By surrounding young people with positive influences, we empower them to see beyond their current circumstances and envision a future filled with success.
